Holy Smoke Cabernet Sauvignon |
$75 |

|
| |
| WA 90 (12/2007): The 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon Holy Smoke Vineyard exhibits a dense ruby/purple color and notes of charcoal, black currant, sweet cherry, earth, and underbrush. A deep, full-bodied wine that is more supple and forward than its two predecessors, but beautiful, it should be drunk over the next 12-15 years. |

2004 |
Out of Sight Cabernet Sauvignon |
$69 |

|
| |
WA 92 (12/2007): The 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon Out of Sight Vineyard, from an estate vineyard in the very southern part of Napa, not far from the Silverado Country Club, has a deep ruby/purple color, beautiful texture, more opulence and flesh than any of the other Cabernets in the portfolio, and a long, heady finish. This wine displays terrific fruit, beautiful, pure cassis intermixed with some licorice and cedar. Drink it over the next 15+ years. WS 87 (11/2007): Tight, with an earthy streak running through the spicy currant, cedar and dried berry flavors. Balanced, with mild, integrated tannins. Drink now through 2012. 553 cases made. |

| |
| WA 92 (8/2002): The superb 1999 Cabernet Sauvignon Hillside Reserve offers aromas of cedar, spice box, and pure, ripe, jammy cassis and cherry liqueur. It is full-bodied and concentrated, with sweet, surprisingly supple tannin, and a powerful, long finish. It will last for nearly two decades. Anticipated maturity: now-2016. |

Rutherford Hillside Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon |

WA 89+ (12/2007): The 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon Hillside Reserve boasts surprising elegance in this vintage, which tends to be very big, fruit-forward, and classically Napa. This is a medium-bodied, cedary, spice box-filled Cabernet Sauvignon with notes of toasty oak intermixed with black currant, cherry, and earth. The wine is medium-bodied and well-made, but some firm tannins in the finish suggest aging it for another several years and drinking it over the following 15+ years. WS 69 (12/2007): Dirty, bitter and leathery. Tasted three times, with consistent notes. 304 cases made. |

1998 |
Trilogy Proprietary Blend |
$45 |
2 |
|
| |
| WA 88 (12/2000): The 1998 Trilogy Proprietary Red Wine reveals the vintage's shortcomings. It is a very good, even excellent wine, but the vintage's short, cool growing season has given the wine more austerity than normal. A blend of 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 43% Merlot, 6% Cabernet Franc, and 6% Malbec, it offers plenty of spicy new oak, mineral, licorice, and damp, foresty aromas and flavors. Elegant and medium-bodied, it is best drunk over the next 10-12 years. |

Trilogy Proprietary Blend |

WA 88 (12/2011): The 2009 Trilogy is 81% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Merlot and 5% Malbec. The wine possesses good balance and depth in its dark red fruit, flowers, mint and spices. This attractive, tasty wine is best enjoyed over the next few years. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2015. WS 87 (12/2012): Firm and complex, with a savory dried berry and forest floor edge that ends with a clipped, cedary oak taste. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Malbec. Drink now through 2018. 7,500 cases made. |
