JD 94 (8/2022): The 2020 Pinot Noir Cuvee Natalie from the Silver Belt Vineyard is perfumed and floral with fresh raspberry, beet root, and cinnamon. The palate is pure, with fine tannins, ripe red berries, rosehip, and wooded spices. It is drinking well now or will drink nicely over the coming 10 years. VM 89 (1/2022): The 2020 Pinot Noir Silver Belt Vineyard Cuvée Natalie is laced with crushed raspberry fruit, mint, spice, blood orange, sweet pipe tobacco and incense. There are some hard edges, and the Natalie doesn’t have the typical depth readers have come to expect here but all things considered, the 2020 is a fine success for the year. Antonio Galloni. WA 94 (7/2022): Medium ruby in color, the 2020 Pinot Noir Cuvée Natalie Silver Belt Vineyard offers dynamic aromas of cranberries and blueberries with touches of orange peel, lilac and pencil shavings. The medium-bodied palate offers crunchy red fruit and alluring herbal undertones, with grainy tannins, seamless acidity and a long, layered finish. |

VM 92 (5/2014): Bright gold. Smoky, iodine-accented melon and pear scents, with an exotic floral quality building with air. Lush and weighty on the palate, with intense mineral notes complementing ripe orchard and pit fruit flavors. An anise element emerges on the back half and carries through a long, juicy, mineral-tinged finish. Distinctly powerful for the vintage, with the structure to age. |

Hudson Vyd. Chardonnay |

VM 96 (3/2017): The 2014 Chardonnay Hudson Vineyard opens with a characteristic reductive note that also adds an element of freshness and aromatic intrigue. Deep on the palate, yet also weightless, the Hudson has a lot going on. Slate, dried herbs, candied lemon and white pepper add to the wine's super-distinctive aromatic and flavor profile. The Hudson is one of the clear standouts in 2014. Antonio Galloni. WA 94 (2/2017): The 2014 Chardonnay Hudson Vineyard has a full-on expressive nose of candied ginger, brioche and honey-drizzled peaches with a waft of orange blossoms. Full-bodied, rich and already strutting its stuff, it has a refreshing line of acidity and wonderful length with some minerals coming through. WS 92 (6/2017): Very tight and well-built, with a firm backbone of toasty oak framing the taut citrus, green apple and nectarine flavors. Vibrant and persistent, ending with a return of the oak elements. Drink now through 2021. 1,055 cases made. |

WA 95 (2/2017): With an intense nose of grapefruit peel, green mangoes and apricots, the 2014 Chardonnay Stone Flat Vineyard has spicy suggestions of coriander seed and ginger plus a waft of toast. Full-bodied, rich and pleasantly oily, it delivers tons of spice and tropical flavors with epic length. VM 93 (3/2017): The 2014 Chardonnay Stone Flat Vineyard is distinctly mineral, earthy and savory in this vintage, with the fruit pushed more into the background. Graphite, autumn leaves, herbs and chamomile add aromatic intrigue. The Stone Flat is distinguished by its striking aromatic complexity and expressive soil-driven tones. Antonio Galloni. WS 90 (6/2017): Seductively creamy, toasty, mocha-shaded oak stands apart from the core of firm, vibrant apple, citrus, pear and honeydew flavors, but this is coming together nicely. May be better in a year or two. Drink now through 2020. 1,055 cases made. |

Stone Flat Vyd. Sonoma Coast Chardonnay |

|
VM 93 (1/2018): The 2015 Chardonnay Stone Flat Vineyard is marked by expressive citrus and floral notes, with a bit more lift, translucence and brighter acids than the Durrell, which lies a few feet away and is planted with the same clonal material, but on different rootstock. Even with all of the natural richness of the year, the Stone Flat is quite gracious and delicate. Bright, saline notes extend the finish nicely. Antonio Galloni. |
