VM 95 (4/2018): In this range, the 2016 Syrah Nellessen Vineyard is distinguished by its pliant, creamy texture and super-expressive aromatic top notes. Here the fruit leans towards the redder end of the spectrum. Sweet red cherry, kirsch, mint, rose petal and sage infuse this succulent yet translucent Syrah from Wind Gap. Intensely floral and savory, the 2016 is a wine of pure and total pleasure. (Drink between 2018-2028).
