| BH 91-93 (4/2022): This also very ripe yet avoids being over the top with its liqueur-like aromatic profile of spiced black cherry, cassis and sauvage hints. There is both excellent volume and freshness to the dense and, somewhat unusually, more refined medium weight flavors that tighten up on the youthfully austere, complex and lingering finale. |

| BH 92-94 (5/2011): (two-thirds of the vines are between 70 and 80 years of age and the remaining vines are approximately 20+ years old.) This is perhaps the ripest wine in the range with a liqueur-like nose of black cherry, earth and underbrush hints that introduce rich, serious and concentrated flavors that possess an abundance of mid-palate extract as it almost completely buffers the otherwise very firm tannic spine, all wrapped in a palate staining finish. This stunning effort should reward at least a dozen years in the cellar and drink well for another decade thereafter. Drink 2021+. Sweet Spot Outstanding! |

| BH 91-94 (4/2013): ( two-thirds of the vines are between 70 and 80 years of age and the remaining vines are approximately 20+ years old.) There is stunningly good aromatic complexity to the spicy black cherry, cassis and plum-inflected nose that is trimmed is noticeable wood. Like the Gravains there is Outstanding richness and volume to the mouth coating medium-bodied flavors that enjoy a plenitude of dry extract before culminating in a mineral-driven and explosively long finish. This is almost always the best wine and so it is again in 2011 as it possesses the most underlying material as well as the most development potential of any wine in the range though patience will be required. Drink 2023+. Sweet Spot Outstanding! |

| VM 92-94 (1/2020): The 2018 Savigny-lès-Beaune La Dominode 1er Cru, picked on September 1 at 13.5% potential alcohol, is tightly coiled and more backward than the Aux Gravins, ergo I expect that this will require more bottle age. There are enticing blackberry and wild strawberry fruit aromas here, but they need time. The palate is medium-bodied with slightly chalky tannins and a superb line of acidity that imparts a sense of energy from the start to the saline finish, which is tangy and vivacious. This is everything you really need in a La Dominode. Neal Martin. |
