| JD 94 (7/2024): The 2022 Riesling Wiltinger Braune Kupp Le Gallais Kabinett is beautiful, with a more racy, focused style (despite coming from a warmer site) carrying lively lychee and citrus fruits as well as beautiful clove, mint, and ginger nuances that emerge with time in the glass. It's medium-bodied and has a crystalline, focused mouthfeel, perfect balance in its acidity and sweetness, and a great finish. It will benefit from a year or three in bottle and keep for at least two decades. (Drink between 2026-2047) |

| VM 89 (5/2017): This bottling, as usual based in large part on Saarburg and Oberemmel fruit but also incorporating a bit from Wiltingen, delightfully illustrates the bright, animating acidity of its vintage. Fresh apple and pear are laced with zesty lemon and lime and underlain by wet stone on a firm, palpably extract-rich palate.
