Barbera d’Alba Vigna Martina Bin-Soiled Label |

|
WA 90 (6/2013): The 2010 Barbera d'Alba Vigna Martina opens with vibrant dark colors and thick concentration that spreads like silk over the palate. A dusty mineral tone at the back, brimstone and pencil shavings, bring a feeling of sharpness and focus to the wine. Yet, the sheer generosity and fullness of the wine is its overriding factor. Anticipated maturity: 2014-2018. |

Sapaio Bolgheri Superiore Bin-Soiled Label |
$35 |

|
|
WA 89 (5/2019): The 2012 Bolgheri Superiore Sapaio is flatter and less exciting at this time in its evolution. This Tuscan red blend shows moderate dimension, although it does deliver a good amount of black fruit, tar and spicy tobacco. There is less acidity on the close, which contributes to the one-dimensional feel of the wine. |

Tenuta Guado al Tasso (Antinori) |
2015 |
Cont’Ugo Bolgheri Scuffed Label; Wine-Stained Label |
$55 |

|
VM 92 (3/2019): The 2015 Cont'Ugo is a dark, sumptuous beauty. Super-ripe black cherry, plum, chocolate and dark spice infuse this voluptuous Merlot from Antinori's Guado al Tasso estate. Silky, plush tannins and soft curves add to the wine's considerable pleasure. (Drink between 2018-2023). Antonio Galloni. |
