JD 95-97 (4/2026): White peach, honeyed flowers, caramelized orange, and minty nuances all define the 2025 Château Doisy-Vedrines, a rich, seriously impressive Sauternes in the making. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, it has a balanced, layered mouthfeel, beautifully integrated acidity, and a great finish.
VM 92-94 (4/2026): The 2025 Doisy-Védrines is an infant. Orchard fruit, citrus and floral notes are nicely lifted. This shows notable power and textural resonance. I imagine the 2025 will drink well with a few years in bottle, by which time some of the more incisive contours will have softened. That said, this is a Barsac that shows exceptionally well with age. JA 92 (4/2026): Bitter orange marmalade character, with attractive studs of bitter fennel that help balance out the succulence of the exotic fruit character. Yield 10hl/ha. |
