| BH 90-93 (1/2023): Here too there is a touch of green tea character present on the spicy and overtly floral nose of essence of red berries, all of which is trimmed in an almost invisible application of wood. The super-sleek medium-bodied flavors possess a satiny texture along with the hallmark minerality of a classic Arvelets, all wrapped in slightly less austere, balanced and sappy finale. This too could use more depth, but everything is in place for it to develop in time. |

VM 90-92 (1/2023): The 2021 Vosne-Romanée Village has an attractive nose with quite generous red cherry and crushed strawberry fruit, hints of violet. The palate is medium-bodied with very fine tannins, tensile and citrus-fresh with an orange peel infused finish. Very fine. (Drink between 2024-2034). Neal Martin.
BH 88-91 (1/2023): A much spicier though less earthy nose features notes of red currant, cherry and a whiff of herbal tea. The racy, intense and nicely detailed middleweight flavors flash a lovely texture before concluding in a youthfully austere finale that could use slightly better depth. Given the apparent aging curve, more complexity should certainly develop if allowed a few years of cellaring. (Drink starting 2029).
