| BH 95 (1/2013): A ripe but cool and restrained nose features intense violet and rose petal aromas as well as ripe red cherry liqueur and spice nuances is trimmed in discreet wood. There is terrific concentration to the intense, palate staining and overtly muscular flavors that give off a very fine minerality that adds lift to the driving, long and impeccably well-balanced finish. This too should age extremely well. Drink 2025+. |

| BH 91-94 (1/2014): (From a .27 ha parcel, most of which is young vines of 15+ years of age though there is a parcel approximating 15% of the total with <40 years of age, 50% whole cluster). There is a hint of tea-like nuances to the floral, spice, earth and sauvage notes on the broad-ranging dark berry fruit scents. The punchy and intense big-bodied flavors possess a subtle touch of minerality as well as fine concentration, all wrapped in a linear and wonderfully long finish. This isn't quite as ripe or complex but the length is seriously impressive. Note that patience will be required. Drink 2027+. |

Here the nose isn't quite as spicy as that of the Chezeaux though it's otherwise similar with terrific depth that continues onto the lacy yet punchy middle weight plus flavors that possess fine size, weight and power. This is a classic example of a wine that displays power without weight because it's really quite refined plus the length is remarkable. One to strongly consider. Drink 2022+. Outstanding! |

| BH 92 (1/2017): An expressive, dense and markedly floral nose is quite ripe but with good freshness on the red and dark berry fruit, earthy and gamy aromas. There is terrific power and concentration to the stony, muscular and mouth coating large-scaled flavors that deliver huge length on the impressively complex and youthfully austere finale. Like its 2015 counterpart, this is a really lovely combination of power and refinement though patience will definitely be required. Drink 2024+. Outstanding! |

| BH 93 (1/2022): An intensely floral-suffused nose speaks of equally cool aromas of red pinot fruit and a beautiful array of spice elements. There is terrific vibrancy to the dense and muscular but sleek medium weight plus flavors that possess lovely definition, all wrapped in a mouth coating, mineral-driven and powerful finale. This built-to-age and firm effort is finer, if not quite as dense, as the Chenevery but even so it is already more complete. Excellent though patience again suggested. Drink 2033+. |
