BH 89-92 (6/2016): This is also sufficiently reduced as to render a proper assessment of the nose impossible. The palate impression of the delicious and round full-bodied flavors is one of elevated ripeness along with plenty of sappy dry extract that buffers the citrusy if slightly less complex finale. This too should drink well relatively early on. Drink 2020+.
VM 89-91 (9/2015): (Colin-Morey has a métayage arrangement on this 13-year-old vineyard, which was recently purchased by American wine collector Wilf Jaeger, who is also a part-owner of RN74 in San Francisco): Bright, light yellow. Aromas of mirabelle and honey are less precise than those of the Chenevottes. Yellow fruit flavors come across as classically dry, with sound supporting acidity, but the finish shows a slight phenolic edge and a hint of warmth in the early going. Colin-Morey did a green harvest here, ultimately making about 47 hectoliters per hectare.
WA 88-90 (12/2015): The 2014 Chassagne Montrachet 1er Cru Abbaye de Morgeot is a new offering from Pierre-Yves from a 0.5-hectare parcel of 15-year-old vines. It has a reserved, nutmeg and grilled almond-scented nose that just needs to develop a little more intensity. The palate is clean and tensile on the entry, with a hint of sour lemon mixed with rosewater and peach; it is delicate and charming, nothing overly complex here (perhaps due to the relatively younger vines), but there is impressive persistence on the finish. |

| BH 89-92 (6/2016): A ripe and attractively fresh nose is comprised by notes of white flowers, apple, pear and a hint of petrol. There is equally good ripeness to the concentrated and mouth coating medium weight flavors that possess a lovely sense of energy, all wrapped in citrus-inflected finale. I like the balance and this is more tension-filled than usual. Drink 2020+. |

| BH 90-92 (6/2014): There is enough reduction to suppress the fruit but it seems clear that this is riper than the Baudines. There is more size, weight and richness to the tautly muscular medium weight flavors that also exude a fine minerality on the clean and dry finish that is almost as refined as that of the Baudines. This too is lovely. Drink 2019+. Outstanding! |

| VM 89 (9/2014): Pale yellow-straw. Bright aromas of pear and white flowers. In a fruity style, not complex but nicely fresh, with an attractive touch of sweetness. Good texture here but I find this less rich today than the 2013 edition, and a bit aggressive on the aftertaste. Stephen Tanzer. |
