VM 94-96 (12/2022): Saturated violet. Highly fragrant, mineral-accented boysenberry, cherry liqueur, candied violet and allspice aromas are complemented by a smoky mineral nuance. Offers palate-staining dark berry, candied licorice and bitter chocolate flavors that pick up notes of candied flowers and exotic spices on the back half. Powerful but surprisingly lively as well, finishing very long and smooth, with sharp delineation and gently gripping tannins. Josh Raynolds. JD 94-96 (2/2022): The 2020 Cornas shows the vintage’s ripe yet fresh style. Lots of red and blue fruits, a kiss of minerality, medium to full body, and ripe tannins all make for a beautiful, impeccably made Cornas that will have two decades of longevity. |

| JD 92-94 (12/2022): The 2021 Cornas showed amazingly well, and it brings more ripeness and texture than just about every other Cornas out there. Ripe blackberries, mulberries, spicy herbs, and earth all emerge on the nose, and it's medium-bodied, with terrific mid-palate depth and ripe tannins. This cuvée comes from a mix of terroirs and will spend 14 months in used barrels. |

VM 90-92 (3/2024): The 2022 Cornas displays glossy red fruits paired with spicy undertones of black pepper and licorice. Ripe tannins provide gentle structure to this polished and forward Cornas that shows solid flavor concentration, culminating in a savory finale. Nicolas Greinacher. JD 94-96 (3/2024): The 2022 Cornas brings another level of density and depth, and while tasting it, you feel like you're eating a raw piece of meat given its bloody, meaty, profile. Dense purple-hued, with notes of blueberries, roasted herbs, iron, and ground pepper, this beauty is full-bodied, has a silky, layered mouthfeel, fine tannins, and a great finish. It's a big, powerful Cornas, yet it still shows the focused style of the vintage beautifully. |

| WA 91 (3/2025): Crafted from 15 different plots and matured for 14 months in used barrels, the 2023 Cornas reveals an enticing, elegant bouquet of spices, mulberries and flowers. Medium to full-bodied, gourmand and fresh, it's elegantly layered with a juicy core of fruit framed by velvety tannins. Concluding with a long and ethereal finish, this attractive, well-crafted wine was fermented with 15% whole bunches. |

| JD 93-95 (12/2022): The 2021 Cornas Vin Noir is even better and clearly a candidate for the wine of the appellation. Ripe blackberries, smoked herbs, cured meats, iron, and spice all flow to a medium to full-bodied, beautifully concentrated, balanced Cornas offering ripe, velvety tannins, plenty of mid-palate depth, and a great finish. Bravo. |

JD 95 (5/2025): Based on 80% Marsanne and 20% Roussanne, the 2023 Saint-Péray Cuvée Prestige reveals a light gold hue and brilliant aromatics of stone fruits, ripe melon, honeysuckle, and subtle spicy, toasty nuances. Medium-bodied and pure on the palate, it has a layered, elegant profile with terrific freshness and the classic salinity of the appellation on the finish. This was fermented with native yeasts and aged in third- and fourth-fill barrels. Drink 2025-2030. WA 93+ (3/2025): A blend of 80% Marsanne and 20% Roussanne, the 2023 Saint-Péray Cuvée Prestige is another real success at this address. Despite its elegantly introverted character, it offers aromas of almonds, white flowers, spices and pear. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and layered, incisive and enrobing with good depth at the core and a long, mineral finish, it's a classic and a very well crafted Saint-Péray with a broad drinking window. VM 93 (1/2025): The 2023 Saint-Péray Cuvée Prestige is complex, with honeysuckle, chamomile, jasmine, white peach and lemon flesh notes. Medium-bodied and sleek, it features a chalky finish with solid tension. This will be best enjoyed after another year in bottle. It's not quite at the level of the standout 2022s, but this is still quite enjoyable. (Drink between 2026-2030.) Nicholas Greinacher. |

JD 98 (12/2019): Lastly, the flagship white is the 2018 Saint-Peray Pur Blanc, which is 100% Marsanne from 100-year-old vines that was brought up all in barrel. It offers a liquid rock-like minerality and salinity as well as extraordinary notes of white currants, quince, green almonds, and toasted bread. This full-bodied, powerful Saint-Peray has a stacked mid-palate, flawless balance, and a finish that won’t quit. It’s one of the greatest Saint-Perays ever made. WA 95 (12/2019): One of the region's best white wines, Robert's 2018 Saint Peray Pur Blanc proves that altitude isn't a necessity—the century-old Marsanne vines are located in the village of Saint Peray, at the base of the appellation. It's reticent on the nose, with delicate scents evocative of crushed stone and rainwater, and then full-bodied but fresh on the palate, with lively flavors of pear and melon. It really separates from the pack on the finish, which is long, lively and cooling-refreshing, with an almost weightless character. VM 95 (5/2020): Light, shimmering yellow-gold. Highly perfumed Meyer lemon, pear nectar, iodine and tarragon qualities on the expansive, mineral-accented nose. Juicy and finely detailed on the palate, offering densely packed citrus, orchard fruit, honeysuckle and sweet butter flavors that show outstanding clarity and mineral cut. Delivers superb energy and power on the incisive, strikingly long finish, which features resonating floral and mineral notes. Raised in four year-old barriques; the vines in this plot are over 100 years old and may include some ancient, now non-permitted varieties. Josh Raynolds. |
