WA 93 (2/2020): The 2019 Polish Hill Riesling boasts hints of baby powder and lime alongside green apple and mint on the nose. It's medium-bodied, with a pristine, almost watery feel on the palate, but it simultaneously delivers fascinating intensity of flavor and tremendous length, with a gentle, softly dusty texture on the finish. It should easily cellar for more than a decade.
VM 93 (9/2022): Limpid straw-yellow. High-pitched citrus zest and floral aromas and a chalky mineral topnote. Vibrant and sharply delineated on the palate, offering juicy, mineral-laced grapefruit, green apple and honeysuckle flavors that deepen and spread out steadily with air. Shows powerful mineral character on the incisive, impressively long finish, which leaves intense citrus fruit and floral notes behind. (Drink between 2026-2036). Josh Raynolds. |
