| WA 90 (12/2016): The 2014 Primitivo Block 24 is one-third new oak with 15 months of aging. This is the strongest of the three wines, has loads of black cherry and strawberry fruit, spice, bramble bush notes, earth, spice and a medium to full body. It should drink well for 5-6 years. |

| WA 89 (12/2016): The 2014 Zinfandel Blocks 7 & 22 spent 15 months in French oak and is a nice, attractive, briary, but classic Zinfandel, with pepper, earth, spice and briary red and black fruits. It is medium-bodied, zesty, and carries its 15.3% natural alcohol well. The color is dark ruby and the wine should drink well for 3-4 years. |
