Erba Vyd. Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

JD 94+ (1/2021): Coming from a steep, higher elevation vineyard and made by Russell Bevan, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Erba Vineyard offers a smoky bouquet of ripe blackcurrants, smoke tobacco, chocolate, charred barrel, and rocky, earthy minerality. This rich, full-bodied, powerful 2018 has some chewy tannins and a dense, backward, mineral-laced style that's going to benefit from bottle age. Do your best to hide bottles for 3-5 years, and it should evolve for two decades. (Drink between 2024-2046).
