| BH 87 (1/2024): (from Chambolle vines.) Pretty, ripe and fresh aromas include those of plum, violet and a whiff of red and black pinot fruit. The succulent, delicious and attractively textured middleweight flavors conclude in a bitter pit fruit, dusty and youthfully austere finale. This is a very good Bourgogne and worth a look. Drink 2025+. Outstanding Top Value. |

| BH 89-91 (1/2024): ( from Les Danguerrins, Aux Croix and Babillières.) Here too there is just enough wood to merit mentioning on the ripe if decidedly cool aromas of red and dark pinot fruit, anise, violet and a hint of exotic tea. Once again there is a really lovely texture to the lacy and delicious middleweight flavors that exhibit solid length on the balanced and mildly austere finish that could use slightly better depth. Drink 2029+. |

BH 86 (6/2024): Fresh and bright aromas include those of petrol, straw, apple and a suggestion of lemon rind. The rich, round, succulent and fleshy middle weight flavors conclude in an easy-going, lemon and nicely dry finale where a touch of rusticity slowly emerges. To enjoy young. (Drink starting 2025). VM 84 (1/2024): The 2022 Bourgogne Chardonnay has a rather unresponsive bouquet at the moment - a little closed after the bottling. The palate has a simple entry and low acidity compared to the 2021, with dried honey notes towards the finish. Fine, but early drinking. (Drink between 2023-2025). Neal Martin. |
