| WA 89+ (3/2016): The Cabernet Sauvignons Sbragia produces emerge from Andolsen Vineyard in Dry Creek, the relatively new Moon Mountain AVA, the Godspeed Vineyard on Mt. Veeder, and the Loyal Hughes and Neal vineyards on Howell Mountain. The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Andolsen Vineyard is blended with 4% Cabernet Franc and 1% Petit Verdot, aged 18 months in 60% new French oak. The blend for the 2014 is identical. As for the 2013, it has a nice, deep ruby/purple color, sweet, earthy red and blackcurrant fruit, background oak, and a firm, structured mouthfeel. Still young and backward, this wine should hit its peak in 4-5 years and last 15-20. |

WA 91 (6/2017): Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Andolsen is profoundly scented of creme de cassis, plum preserves and spice box with suggestions of black earth, cedar box and mocha. Medium to full-bodied, it delivered concentrated baked black berry notes with lovely spice and earth layers, supported by velvety tannins, finishing with great length. JD 89+ (6/2018): The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Andolsen comes from a site in the Dry Creek Valley and is 95% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Cabernet Franc, and 1% Petit Verdot aged 18 months in 60% new French oak. Red currants, spicy wood, graphite, and dried soil notes all emerge from this medium-bodied, nicely concentrated, structured red that's holding things tight and close to its vest currently. I suspect it will develop more complexity with another year of bottle age and should keep for 8-10 years. |

| VM 91+ (5/2008): Good full ruby. Highly complex aromas of sour cherry candy, cassis, minerals, graphite, chocolate and licorice, plus a hint of iron. Big, rich and rocky, with varietally expressive flavors of black fruits, flowers and mint. The building, chewy tannins reach the front teeth. All of these cabernets include a small percentage of cabernet franc, notes Sbragia, who clearly likes the floral lift this variety brings. Stephen Tanzer. |

| WA 93+ (3/2017): Deep garnet-black in color, the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Monte Rosso has a powerful, earth and meat-led nose, revealing notes of black loam, chargrill and salami over a core of crème de cassis, Chinese five spice, prunes, incense and dark chocolate with a waft of menthol. The concentrated, full-bodied palate delivers rich, opulent black fruit preserves and exotic spice flavors, supported by a solid backbone of firm, grainy tannins and finishing with menthol and spice layers. |
