WA 90+ (4/2019): The 2016 Pinot Noir Estate Cuvée includes about one-third whole cluster fruit and aged for 14 months in 26% new French oak. It has a pale to medium ruby-purple color and nose of crushed black cherry, charcuterie and warm black plum with nuances of cinnamon stick and warm spice plus a stony character—delightfully broody. Light to medium-bodied with a good core of warm spiced fruits in the mouth, it has a fine frame of grainy tannins and great freshness to lift the long finish. VM 90 (5/2019): The 2016 Pinot Noir Estate Cuvée is beautifully lifted, with striking perfume and impeccable balance to match its ethereal, weightless feel. Crushed leaves, mint, cedar and red berry fruit add layers of complexity to this attractive, inviting Pinot from Small Vines. (Drink between 2019-2026). Antonio Galloni. |

| WA 90 (4/2018): The 2015 Chardonnay Sonoma Coast has a nose of toasted almonds, honey-drizzled peaches and baking bread plus suggestions of apple blossoms and allspice. Medium-bodied, it delivers plenty of stone fruit and savory flavors with a racy line and good length. |

JD 92+ (7/2020): The appellation 2018 Chardonnay Sonoma Coast comes all from The Barlow Homestead Vineyard on the Sonoma Coast and was aged 10 months in 7% new French and Austrian barrels. Its vivid gold color is followed by a Chablis-like lemon curd, white flower, green herb, and slightly salty Chardonnay offering bright acidity, medium body, and a clean finish. It needs bottle age, but this is beautiful stuff. VM 92 (1/2021): The 2018 Chardonnay (Sonoma Coast) is once again a stellar wine in this range. Apricot, tangerine, chamomile and light buttery notes all grace this super-expressive Chardonnay. The Sonoma Coast Chardonnay offers a terrific balance of fruit richness and energy. Drink it over the next handful of years. The Sonoma Coast Chardonnay is the second selection of the barrels that don't make it into the T B H Chardonnay. (Drink between 2021-2028). Antonio Galloni. |

| WA 93 (7/2022): The 2014 Chardonnay TBH Vineyard is the first iteration of this cuvée from Small Vines. Aromatically, it offers a balance of flinty, mushroomy tones with concentrated baked apples and quince, striking a fine balance of youthful fruit and savory maturity. The medium-bodied palate is surprisingly fresh, with acidity and a touch of texture supporting concentrated fruits. It has a long, flinty finish that suggests this still has plenty of life ahead in the cellar. |
