| VM 93 (7/2023): Typically the last parcel to be picked by Cotat, the 2022 Cul de Beaujeu is a welcoming, open style. The merest hint of residual sugar (3g/l) is part of the roundness on the palate, but it's not sweet, merely smoothing out its core. | VM 94 (7/2023): Lay back and get comfortable with the 2022 Grand Côte. It is a delightfully balanced style with a tender finesse, filling the mouth with a sense of purity. While it has an almost lacy character, there's no absence of substance or structure. It's restrained aromatically with delicate violets, florals, nectarine flavors and a distinct stony character. It draws out on the long, chalky, almost sinew-like finish. A delight to drink now, but knowing Cotat, there's no hurry to pull the cork. Rebecca Gibb. |

| VM 94 (10/2023): The 2022 Le Mont Moelleux is a medium-sweet, tender style that is just so welcoming and appealing. It is the quiet type that doesn't show off. It offers breadth without weight, which I always like about the Huet wines - they're like clouds of Chenin floating over your palate. A fine floral and fruity fragrance reminiscent of lilac, pear and pineapple lingers off the tranquil finish. While the acidity in 2022 is a little gentle, it still has enough tension to sweep up the wine and hold it all together. A little more length and line would elevate it further.
