| WA 91 (4/2017): Rich and textured, with loads of upfront charm, the 2014 Grand Vin checks in as a blend of 46% Merlot, 28% Cabernet Franc, 13% Syrah, 9% Malbec and 4% Cabernet Sauvignon. Like all vintages here, it was raised in barrels, with roughly 25% being new. It offers up lots of currants, spicy oak, licorice and herbs in a medium to full-bodied, textured style that does well in the vintage. It’s already drinking nicely yet will keep through 2024. |

| WA 92-94 (4/2016): The 100% Grenache 2014 Languedoc Saint Drezery Quercus was aged 70% in concrete tanks and 30% in new demi-muids. Like all of the 2014s, it has less overall material than previous vintages, yet offers gorgeous black raspberry and jammy blackberry fruits, licorice and spring flowers in a full-bodied, elegant, fresh style that will shine right out of the gate. |
