VM 86-88 (4/2026): The 2025 Chasse-Spleen Blanc is a powerful wine. Citrus, dried herbs, flowers and earthy notes grace this deep, savory dry white from Chasse-Spleen. Antonio Galloni. JD 94-96 (4/2026): A terrific, serious white from this reference point estate outside of Léognan, the 2025 Domaine De Chevalier Blanc reveals orchard fruits, spice, and crushed stone on the nose. It's rich and medium to full-bodied on the palate, with nicely integrated acidity, ample mid-palate depth, and a great finish. It's going to need just a few years of bottle age to come together. VM 97-99 (4/2026): The 2025 Domaine de Chevalier Blanc gets my vote for the white wine of the vintage. Rich and powerful in the glass, but also beautifully vibrant, the 2025 dazzles from start to finish. Lemon confit, pear, slate, mint, white flowers and tangerine peel are some of the many aromas and flavors that develop over time. The 2025 is quite simply stunning. Don’t miss it! Antonio Galloni. WA 93-95 (4/2026): The Domaine de Chevalier 2025 Blanc reveals an expressive bouquet of white fruits—pear and white peach—alongside floral notes. Medium- to full-bodied, it’s dense yet remarkably fresh and precise, with a crystalline, ethereal profile. Both aromatic and concentrated, it combines depth with clarity, concluding with a long, ethereal and perfumed finish. Once again, this is a fine success and surely one of the most precise white wines produced in Bordeaux this year. JA 95 (4/2026): Straight from the first nose this is clearly one of the whites of the vintage. The most beautifully flinty and sculpted citrus and pear. Harvest August 25 to September 6. 33% new oak. In organic conversion. It's now been a decade of vineyard work to ensure that the white grapes are in the coolest part of the estate, and ageing takes place in a variety of differently sized barrels, with plenty of lees work that changes every year - so in 2024 they stirred through the December, this year only October because the richness was already there. In a word, they know what they are doing and you can rest easy. |

VM 91-93 (4/2026): The 2025 L'Esprit de Chevalier Blanc is impressive on the nose for a Deuxième Vin, with engaging green apple, kiwi, pear drop and light stony scents that are very well defined. The palate is well balanced, with fine acidity, lovely texture, the 30% Sémillon imparting weight and umami towards the peppery finish. Not immensely long, but this is very satisfying. Neal Martin. WA 90-92 (4/2026): The 2025 L'Esprit de Chevalier Blanc reveals a fresh, aromatic bouquet of verbena, confit lemon and spring flowers. Medium-bodied, juicy and crystalline, it’s notably fresh yet enveloping, combining precision and freshness with a juicy core of fruit, concluding with a long and ethereal finish, underlining the wine’s balance and clarity. JA 92 (4/2026): Appealing, succulent, nicely balanced, graphite and citrus, this has lovely bright zest and grip, slate, enjoyable, a great value pick that really should not be overlooked. |

Bordeaux Blanc ETA Fall 2028 |
$159 |

JD 95-97 (4/2026): Citrus, lemon zest, mint, and crushed stone notes all emerge from the 2025 Château Cos D'Estournel Blanc, a vibrant, focused white based on 56% Sauvignon Blanc and 44% Sémillon that's being raised in 6% new barriques. On the palate, it's medium-bodied, with bright acidity and outstanding length. It's more inward and chiseled than the Pagodes release and will benefit from a few years of bottle age. This is a brilliant white. VM 92-94 (4/2026): The 2025 Cos d'Estournel Blanc was picked between August 25 and September 3 and matured in just 6% new oak. It is very fragrant and pure on the nose, Anjou pear and wild peach, vanilla pod and light chamomile scents evolving with time in the glass. Fine delineation. The palate is very well balanced, with a silver thread of acidity. Fine tension, quite persistent in the mouth, with a brisk and focused finish, this is a delicious white Cos d'Estournel that, again, will be difficult to resist once in bottle. Neal Martin. WA 90-92 (4/2026): The 2025 Blanc, a blend of 56% Sauvignon Blanc and 44% Sémillon, reveals aromas of white fruits, herbs and spice. Medium- to full-bodied, it’s dense and structured with a tensile, more energetic profile than usual, concluding with a citrus-inflected, long and fresh finish. JA 96 (4/2026): Love the two whites from Cos this year, each with its own character and personality. They field grafted the vines back in 2021 onto more limestone-rich soils, and the results are clear in the glass. This is juicy, characterful, with structure and depth, fleshy white peach and pear, sage and lemongrass, waves of oyster shell and sea spray, steel and silk, with long ageing potential. Harvest August 25 to September 6 % new oak. 3 pH, even lower than 2024. |

JD 95-97 (4/2026): Grilled peach, toasted bread, honey, and mint are just some of the nuances that emerge from the 2025 Château Coutet, a rich, powerful, full-bodied Barsac. On the palate, it has clean, integrated acidity and a great finish. I love its overall balance. VM 94-96 (4/2026): The 2025 Coutet is redolent of burnt sugar, crème brûlée, spice, passion fruit and candied ginger. Always quite rich texturally, Coutet blossoms beautifully on the palate with plenty of textural presence and body. It's a gorgeous wine by any measure. Tasted two times. Antonio Galloni. JA 93 (4/2026): One of my go to Barsacs, in this vintage showing intensely sweet pineapple, bitter almond, fennel, blood orange, tarte tartin. There is grip here, but it is one for lovers of opulence. Tasted twice, 25% new oak. |

| JA 97 (4/2026): Once again this tiny stable of Doisy Daëne dry whites is right at the top of the vintage - and for me this year it's the Sauvignon Blanc version that really hits the heights. Green-gold in colour this delivers a juicy, poised and full of flavour wine. Expect passion fruit, preserved citrus, papaya, mango, lime zest, white flowers, so much breadth of flavour, tension and texture, push and pull, edges of gunsmoke. Brilliant, with the high acidity of the year wrapped in slate and silk. One of the whites of the year. 15% new oak. Dubourdieu family owners. |

JD 96-98 (4/2026): A brilliant, gorgeous Barsac, the 2025 Château Doisy Daëne is based on 88% Sémillon and 12% Sauvignon Blanc that will spend 10 months in barrel followed by nine months in stainless steel before bottling. Honeyed peach, fresh apricot, flowers, and toasted bread nuances all shine on the nose, and it's full-bodied on the palate, with a concentrated, layered mouthfeel, beautifully integrated acidity, and outstanding length. Checking in at 13.5% alcohol with a pH of 3.95, it's a blockbuster in the making. VM 92-94 (4/2026): The 2025 Doisy-Daëne is aromatic, lifted and sculpted. Green apple, pear, jasmine and crushed rocks are finely delineated in an airy Barsac that has so much to offer. The 2025 can be enjoyed young for its freshness, but it clearly has the energy and pedigree to age into an exceptional sweet wine over time. Antonio Galloni. JA 91 (4/2026): Another exceptional name in the Barsac appellation, showcasing the opulence of the vintage, with cloves, gunsmoke, papaya, grilled pineapple. Extremely concentated. JD 95-97 (4/2026): White peach, honeyed flowers, caramelized orange, and minty nuances all define the 2025 Château Doisy-Vedrines, a rich, seriously impressive Sauternes in the making. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, it has a balanced, layered mouthfeel, beautifully integrated acidity, and a great finish. VM 92-94 (4/2026): The 2025 Doisy-Védrines is an infant. Orchard fruit, citrus and floral notes are nicely lifted. This shows notable power and textural resonance. I imagine the 2025 will drink well with a few years in bottle, by which time some of the more incisive contours will have softened. That said, this is a Barsac that shows exceptionally well with age. Antonio Galloni. JA 92 (4/2026): Bitter orange marmalade character, with attractive studs of bitter fennel that help balance out the succulence of the exotic fruit character. Yield 10hl/ha. |

JD 91-93 (4/2026): A serious, classic Bordeaux Blanc, the 2025 Blanc De Duhart-Milon is based on 68% Sémillon, 31% Sauvignon Blanc, and 1% Sauvignon Gris, first produced in 2020 but only made available commercially starting in 2021. Bright citrus, hints of pear, chalky minerality, and minty herbs all define the nose. Medium-bodied on the palate, it has a nicely balanced, layered mouthfeel, plenty of mid-palate richness, and bright acidity that shines on the finish. Checking in at 12.4% alcohol with a pH of 3.28, it's a classic, serious white that will keep for 15+ years. VM 92-94 (4/2026): The 2025 Le Blanc de Duhart-Milon constitutes the fifth vintage from regrafted vines on cooler, late-ripening limestone soils, mainly Sémillon with 15% malo. It has a well-defined bouquet, perhaps more primal than previous vintages at this stage, leesy with touches of apple blossom. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, bright acids, again, a little more lees than before, but that leads to a complex, stem ginger tinged finish that lingers in the mouth. Very fine. Neal Martin. WA 90-92 (4/2026): A blend of 68% Sémillon, 31% Sauvignon Blanc and 1% Sauvignon Gris, the 2025 Le Blanc de Duhart-Milon offers up aromas of confit citrus, white fruits and lemon verbena. Medium-bodied and juicy, it’s built around a tensile profile with a lively core of fruit, concluding with a long, citrus-inflected finish. Around 10% underwent malolactic fermentation. JA 94 (4/2026): Apricot pit, nectarine, fennel, liquorice root, so juicy and easy to love, with lift and a tightening that adds focus and length on the finish. 37hl/ha yields, harvest August 22, followed by a few plots of Sémillon which were picked September 1. 10% of malolactic fermentation. |

JD 94-96 (4/2026): Bright citrus and orchard fruit, mint, and some spicy wood all emerge from the 2025 Château De Fieuzal Blanc, a serious Pessac-Léognan blanc based on 70% Sauvignon Blanc and 30% Sémillon, with the Sémillon aged in new barrels and the Sauvignon Blanc raised in once-used barrels. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, it has a nicely concentrated, balanced mouthfeel, integrated acidity, and a great finish. VM 89-91 (4/2026): The 2025 Château de Fieuzal Blanc was picked 17 to 25 August. This is quite understated on the nose and demands some coaxing, eventually revealing Granny Smith, Anjou pear and light sea spray scents. The palate is well balanced with a keen line of acidity. Lemon and orange pith notes, not amazingly complex, but I like the texture and there is ample freshness and weight on the finish. Fine. Neal Martin. WA 93-95 (4/2026): One of the more compelling white wines in Bordeaux in recent years, the 2025 Blanc from Château de Fieuzal unfurls in the glass with an attractive bouquet of pear, white peach, spice, flowers and ripe orchard fruits. Medium- to full-bodied, layered and dense, it’s built around a fleshy, seamless core of fruit, framed by racy acidity that carries through to a long, mineral and precise finish. It's a particularly successful rendition and among the more complete whites of the vintage. JA 92 (4/2026): White fruits, nectarine, plenty of character, peony petals and creamy white pear with star anise and liquorice root. Moriesh with pesonality. |

JD 95-97 (4/2026): A blend of 66% Sémillon and 34% Sauvignon that will spend 18 months in 90% new French oak, the 2025 Château Guiraud has a beautiful medium gold hue as well as a ripe, powerful and sweet perfume of grilled peach, orange marmalade, ginger, and minty flowers. It's rich and full-bodied on the palate, with a concentrated mouthfeel, tons of sweetness nicely balanced by clean acidity, and outstanding length. It checks in at 13.3% alcohol with a pH of 3.83. VM 93-95 (4/2026): The 2025 Guiraud balances power and energy like very few Sauternes can. Orange confit, passion fruit, crystallized ginger and exotic white flowers fill out the layers. Silky contours are a sign of total finesse. Impeccable. Guiraud is one of the most elegant Sauternes readers will come across. Antonio Galloni. JA 95 (4/2026): Attractive balance and bite, with steel, citrus, preserved lemons, patisserie, grated ginger, baked pineapple, plenty of lift, successfully walks the line of opulence and biting acidities that are so needed in such a concentrated vintage. This is 100% Sémillon, aging in a mix of barrels and stainless steel tanks; it checks in at 13.5% alcohol. VM 96-98 (4/2026): The 2025 Lafaurie-Peyraguey is the only cuvée this year, there is no second wine. This was cropped at 12 hl/ha between September 16 and October 9 via three tries, one just to clean the vineyard, and comprises 100% Sémillon with 175 g/l of residual sugar. It has a very nuanced bouquet that opens nicely with aeration, dried peach, pear and light waxy scents, a touch of saffron in the background. The palate is beautiful, very well balanced with pure botrytised fruit, a little almond and chamomile towards the finish with very well integrated oak. This is a really classy Sauternes that has a long future ahead. Neal Martin. Vibrant and pure aromatics of white peach, tropical flowers, and minty herbs all shine on the nose, and it's medium-bodied on the palate, with a pure, graceful mouthfeel, beautifully integrated acidity, and a great finish. I love the overall purity, balance, and complexity here. VM 92-94 (4/2026): The 2025 Larrivet Haut-Brion Blanc is one of the most unique, extroverted whites in Bordeaux. Baked apple tart, candied ginger, pear and buttery Chassagne-like overtones blossom, conveying tons of nuance and character. This is impeccably done. Antonio Galloni. JA 94 (4/2026): Juicy, poised, pumice stone minerarlity, the acidity here is nervous and full of lift, great expansion through the palate, wild asparagus, and elderflower, super enjoyable. JD 92-94 (4/2026): Stone fruits, orange blossom, mint, and a kiss of minerality all define the 2025 Château Latour-Martillac Blanc, a richer style of Pessac-Léognan blanc. Medium-bodied on the palate, it has a pure, balanced mouthfeel, moderate yet present acidity, and a clean finish. It brings the richness of the vintage while staying lively and vibrant. VM 93-95 (4/2026): The 2025 Latour-Martillac Blanc plays with a light reduction on the nose, quite mineral, with touches of sea spray coming through with time. The palate is well balanced and cohesive, with fine acidity, one of the most complex whites from this Pessac-Léognan estate that I have encountered, and it lingers on the saline finish. Bravo. Neal Martin. JA 94 (4/2026): Juicy, poised, pumice stone minerarlity, the acidity here is nervous and full of lift, great expansion through the palate, wild asparagus, and elderflower, super enjoyable. JD 91-93 (4/2026): The 2025 Château Lespault-Martillac Blanc offers up crushed stone minerality, citrus, and fresh orchard fruits on the nose, and it has a tighter, more focused style in the vintage. Based on 75% Sauvignon Blanc and 25% Sémillon, it's medium-bodied on the palate, with a mineral-laced, balanced profile and a clean, lengthy finish. VM 91-93 (4/2026): The 2025 Lespault-Martillac Blanc offers a compelling mix of fruit richness and energy. All the elements are so well balanced. The 2025 can be enjoyed young for its energy, but also has the freshness to develop well in bottle for at least a few years. Lemon peel, chalk, white pepper and crushed rocks linger on the close. Antonio Galloni. WA 90-91 (4/2026): The 2025 Blanc from Lespault-Martillac reveals a fresh, refined bouquet of verbena and lemon. Moderately weighted and juicy, it’s elegant and lively, with good length at the core enhanced by elegant acidity, concluding with an ethereal, perfumed profile. This is a classic at this address. JA 92 (4/2026): A crowd pleaser, with smoky campfire and cold ash, citrus and white flowers, easy to recommend. Harvest August 25 to September 6. 33% new oak. In organic conversion. |

JD 94 (4/2026): Checking in as a blend of 60% Sauvignon Blanc, 24% Sémillon, 11% Muscadelle, and 5% Sauvignon Gris, the 2025 Château Lynch-Bages Blanc is a vibrant, racy white with a perfumed nose of citrus, honeyed tropical flowers, mint, and chalky minerality. Medium-bodied on the palate, it's fresh, focused, and balanced, with bright acidity and a clean, crisp finish. Already bottled, it should have 10-15 years of longevity. Drink 2026-2041. VM 94 (4/2026): The 2025 Blanc de Lynch-Bages is terrific. This is the first year with some Sauvignon Gris. The 2025 offers a beguiling mix of textural richness and aromatic intensity. Pear, green apple and jasmine open first, followed by light tropical overtones that lend an exotic flair. This was just bottled but is drinking very well today. Antonio Galloni. WA 90-92 (4/2026): Notes of clove, flowers, confit citrus and spices preface the 2025 Blanc de Lynch-Bages, a medium- to full-bodied, rich and layered wine built around a lively core of fruit, with delicate acidity through the mid-palate and a long, saline finish. Bottled just 10 days prior to tasting, it remains particularly expressive at this early stage. It's a blend of 60% Sauvignon Blanc, 24% Sémillon, 11% Muscadelle and 5% Sauvignon Gris, matured in 50% new oak. JA 95 (4/2026): Salted crackers, preserved lemons, patisserie notes, love the white peach and pear flesh, this is an exceptional Blanc de Lynch Bages in a vintage that had challenges for the whites after a hot dry summer. 25hl/ha yield. 3.20 pH. Harvest August 26 to September 4. 50% new oak, already bottled. |

JD 94-96 (4/2026): A blend of 73% Sauvignon Blanc and 27% Sémillon raised six months on its lees in 50% new barrels with the balance in once-used oak, the 2025 Château Malartic-Lagravière Blanc is a richer yet still fresh, beautifully balanced white. Melon, honeyed mint, and a touch of minerality all define the aromatics, and it's medium-bodied on the palate, with integrated acidity and a clean finish. I love its purity, as well as its length. VM 92-94 (4/2026): The 2025 Malartic-Lagravière Blanc has a well-defined nose, but perhaps like the Domaine de Chevalier Blanc, it feels bashful at this early stage. The palate is well balanced, with a peachy entry and, here, it is more expressive, with hints of mango and Clementine, just a little oak guiding the finish. Not quite up there with the outstanding '24, but close. Neal Martin. JA 91 (4/2026): Carefully constructed if subdued at this early stage, white pears, cinammon, cumin, slate, preserved lemons. Plenty of ageing potential. Yield 36.5 hl/ha. |

Medium-bodied on the palate, it's nicely balanced and juicy, with clean acidity and outstanding length. Light on its feet but with very fine depth, the 2025 has much to offer. White pear, lemon oil, chalk mint and white pepper are finely sculpted in this tasty dry white. Antonio Galloni. JA 94 (4/2026): White peach and pear, super juicy with clarity, lift and expansion. Antonio Galloni. JA 95 (4/2026): Fruit driven, so juicy, laden with white peach and pear orchard fruits, lightly grilled without being heavy, an excellent white that has the structure to last but the generosity to give pleasure immediately. 33% new oak. JD 95-97 (4/2026): Crushed citrus, mint, crushed stone, and white flower nuances all define the aromatics of the 2025 Château Suduiraut Vieilles Vignes, which is a blend of 66% Sémillon and 34% Sauvignon Blanc that's resting in 14% new barrels with the balance in once-used oak. It's medium-bodied on the palate, with a pure, focused mouthfeel, beautiful purity, flawless balance, and an incredibly seamless style. This has 13.7% alcohol with a pH of 3.39 VM 94-96 (4/2026): Like all the whites this year at Suduiraut, the 2025 Grand Vin Blanc Sec Vieilles Vignes has more Sémillon in the blend. It offers a striking mix of Sémillon richness and vibrant energy that is impossible to miss. I especially admire the wine's tension. Pear, dried lemon peel, chalk, mint and dried flowers build into the intense, saline-drenched finish. What a wine. Élevage will be nine months in French oak, 14% new. Antonio Galloni. WA 91-93 (4/2026): The 2025 Blanc sec Vieilles Vignes, a blend of 66% Sémillon and 34% Sauvignon Blanc, reflects a slightly higher proportion of Sémillon than usual. It reveals a discreet, refined bouquet of acacia blossom, spice and floral notes. Medium- to full-bodied, it’s both supple and structured, built around a fresh, fruit-driven core that carries through to a long finish. A fine, gently bitter edge brings definition and balance. JA 95 (4/2026): Clearly more luscious than its sibling wine Lions de Suduiraut, sets out its stall with depth and tension, apricot, nectarine, white mango, quince. This is selected from the same terroir as the main Suduiraut wine. 14% new oak for ageing, 3.39pH. |

This is selected from the same terroir as the main Suduiraut wine. 14% new oak for ageing, 3.39pH. |

JD 96-98 (4/2026): A blockbuster Sauternes, the 2025 Château Suduiraut is 100% Sémillon that will spend 16 to 20 months in equal parts new and one-vintage-old barrels. It delivers massive orange blossom, caramelized peach, and apricot on the nose. Checking in at 13.5% alcohol with a pH of 4.04 and 158 grams of residual sugar, it's full-bodied on the palate, with a deep, layered, unctuous mouthfeel and tons of fruit, all while holding onto a beautiful sense of vibrancy, freshness, and elegance. VM 96-98 (4/2026): The 2025 Suduiraut is pure Sémillon, picked mostly after October 10 (there was a first picking of more passerillé fruit that constituted around 10% of the blend). It is mainly from the second trie, with a last picking at the end of October. There were a total of 10 days of picking. This has a fragrant bouquet with wild honey, linseed, saffron and light orange pith scents that blossom in the glass, though I would not describe it as intense, but very pure. The palate is well balanced, with a viscous opening, very pure botrytised fruit and a killer line of acidity. There is no heaviness here, and despite the 158 g/L residual sugar, it feels light on its toes. Oh yes. Neal Martin. JA 95 (4/2026): Pale gold colour, as seductive as ever. Strikes immediately with a texture that is rich and powerful, opulent without being heavy. The 13hl/h yields are just a little higher than the last two years, a reminder of how tough Sauternes has had it in recent vinages. 50% new oak. 4.04pH, 158g/l residual sugar, mix of botryitis and 5% passerillage (often that is a sign for good vintage for reds because it suggests that there was sustained drought. The real botrytis came with the rain of September 20. |

VM 89-91 (4/2026): The 2025 Château du Tertre Blanc has a precise and crisp green apple, pear and persimmon-scented bouquet. The palate is well balanced, with bright acids and fine tension, Anjou pear mixed with white peach leading to a more linear finish. Good potential. Neal Martin. WA 89-91 (4/2026): The 2025 Blanc from Château du Tertre, bottled April 20, is a blend of 43% Chardonnay, 29% Gros Manseng, 14% Viognier and 14% Sauvignon Blanc. It reveals aromas of spice, white fruits, confit citrus and pear. Medium- to full-bodied, enveloping and elegant, it’s fresh and well balanced, built around a core of fruit with good depth and lively acidity, concluding with an ethereal finish. JA 93 (4/2026): Stands out from the lineup for its power and clarity, finessed floral rose petals, elderflower blossom, citrus, cloves and oyster shell salinity on the finish.
